This privacy policy explains how Torvmark Labs, operating under the Torvi Studio brand (we, us, our), handles information in connection with Hue Bounce (the app).
This page describes the published version, Hue Bounce 1.0.3.
Hue Bounce is available on iOS. We aim to collect as little data as possible. The App has no user accounts and no login.

1. Who is responsible
For the processing for which we are responsible, the controller is Torvmark Labs, a sole proprietorship with organisation number 938 284 792, Hovsveien 27D, 1769 Halden, Norway. Torvi Studio is our brand. Contact: hello@torvistudio.com.
2. Information we and our partners handle
- Game data stored on your device: your level progress, high scores, coins, tokens, hearts, rewards, unlocked cosmetics and settings are saved locally on your device (using iOS UserDefaults). This data is not sent to us.
- Notifications: the App may send local notifications (for example gentle reminders). These are scheduled on your device and send no data to us.
Website visits and language/theme preferences
When you visit our website, the web server receives your IP address, requested address and browser/request information to deliver and protect the page. Our hosting provider processes this technical information for us; the basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, available website. Remembering a language or theme implements your requested preference. The site stores your chosen language and theme in functional cookies shared across torvistudio.com and its subdomains, with browser-local storage as a fallback. The cookies are named torvi-lang and torvi-theme and expire one year after they are set; browser-local copies remain until cleared. These preferences contain no account or advertising identifier. You can change them on any page or clear them through your browser. They are separate from in-app Analytics and advertising consent.
3. Storage, sync and connected services
- iCloud sync: when iCloud is available, sync is enabled by default and can be turned off in Hue Bounce Settings. It uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store for supported progress, high scores, coins, tokens, unlocked cosmetics, achievement state and selected settings. Hearts, refill timing, daily-claim timing and pending consumable rewards remain local. Remove Ads is restored through StoreKit, not synced as a cloud preference. Turning sync off applies only to this installation/device and does not delete the cloud copy. After deleting and reinstalling the app, sync is enabled by default again and previous progress may load automatically. This is stored in your personal iCloud account and handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to it.
- Game Center: Hue Bounce offers Game Center. If you use its leaderboards or achievements, that data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
- In-app purchases: purchases (such as "Remove Ads" and cosmetics) are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment-card or bank details. StoreKit provides purchase and entitlement information to the app so it can unlock and restore non-consumable purchases. The current products are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
5. Analytics, advertising and consent
- Advertising (Google AdMob): the App shows ads through Google AdMob. To do so, Google and its ad partners may collect and process device and usage information, such as a device/advertising identifier (IDFA), IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic data, to deliver and measure ads. See how Google uses information.
Advertising choices are managed through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required. In version 1.0.3, a shared check requires UMP to allow ad requests before the ad SDK starts or any ad is loaded; display also requires completed startup and current permission to request ads. Relevant consent information/forms are handled before proceeding, and an ATT request may follow when applicable. Changing advertising privacy choices discards previously loaded ads and rechecks eligibility. On iOS, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission separately controls access to IDFA for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. Declining tracking does not by itself determine all advertising choices. Ads may still be shown without IDFA, subject to the consent choices and ad availability in your region. Privacy options is shown in Settings when Google requires that entry point. Banner and interstitial ads also wait until purchase status has been checked and Remove Ads is not active. Remove Ads disables interstitial and banner ads. In version 1.0.3, the paid interface uses coins for hearts, revival and token doubling; buying Remove Ads does not promise additional rewarded-video offers. Hue Bounce does not use Firebase Analytics or a separate gameplay-analytics SDK.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data collected for advertising is processed by Google/AdMob and its partners according to their own policies and retention periods. You can read how Google uses this information.
Legal basis (EEA/UK users)
Where required, we rely on consent for advertising identifiers, personalised advertising and tracking. Non-personalised ads can also require consent for device storage or identifiers; they are not automatically exempt. Requested game functions and purchases are provided to perform our agreement with you. We rely on our legitimate interests in answering support requests and securing the service where consent is not required, and legal obligations where applicable. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
For the providers’ own processing and international-transfer safeguards, see Apple’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy. Depending on the provider and service, information may be processed outside the EEA/UK. The provider’s applicable policy explains the destinations and safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about transfers involving data Torvi Studio holds.
7. Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until you delete the app and its data or reset the relevant data. Offloading an app is not the same as deleting its data. iCloud copies, device backups, Game Center records and Apple's purchase records may remain after uninstalling. An iCloud copy can restore supported progress on reinstall. Manage those copies separately through Apple’s account and storage controls. Google and its ad partners retain advertising data according to their policies; withdrawing permission stops the relevant future use, not necessarily deletion of prior records.
Support messages
If you email Torvi Studio, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. They are used to answer the request, investigate the problem and handle applicable purchase or legal claims, with our email service provider processing delivery and storage. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information. Correspondence is kept while needed to resolve the case and any related complaint or legal obligation, then deleted or anonymised. Contact us to request access or deletion.
8. Your rights and choices
You can revisit advertising choices in Settings → Privacy options where available and change tracking permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can turn iCloud sync off in the game settings. For information Torvi Studio holds, applicable rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Email us to exercise these rights; we may need proportionate information to identify your records. You can also complain to Datatilsynet or your local supervisory authority. Torvi Studio cannot remotely delete data held only on your device or in your Apple account.
9. Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
